2015 marks a very important year to me because in a couple of months more, I will be hitting the big 3-0. It's have been quite difficult to accept the fact that I will no longer in the young adult category. Well, I have probably long passed the young adult category but *letting out a HUGE sigh as I am writing this* having a number 3 in front of my age is pretty scary, especially when I think I have not been achieving much in my life. I still don't own a car, I still owe people a lot of money, I have not step up the ladder at work (big chance I would this year. Keeping fingers crossed), we still haven't have a place to call our own and we are still renting out a room to a stranger in order to cover our exorbitant rent. Whoever says that age is just a number obviously lied to make him/herself feel better. Pffttttt..
At 29, the only great achievement that I have made is to give birth to my son. He is lovely and is currently in his second year of kindergarten. He has been a great kid and I foresee that he will be a great man in the future. :)
The reason I am starting this blog is record down significant moments in my life this year and beyond. I seriously hope that I will keep this blog alive. And I am keeping myself anonymous because I will also use this platform to vent out my stress, be it work or personal.
Before I end this self introduction, I would like to set some goals for myself this year. It will be fun to look back at this again to see how much I have achieve. Hopefully I manage to get all the goals checked. :D
Goals for 2015 (not in according of priorities)
1) To have monthly salary of at least RM3.5k and above.
2) To run a stable wedding gown business with business of RM2k and above.
3) To get my son a bicycle (this one should be pretty easy)
4) To go on a weekend trip with the husband at least once this year (should be achievable)
5) Work my way to become a manager (or at least an assistant manager) (but this is not a priority as the salary is more important)
6) To have enough savings to get a car by 2016
7) To be able to afford kicking the housemate out and keep the whole house to ourself (to achieve that, we need to make an additional RM1200 per month *GASPS*)
8) To bring mom and baby back to stay with me by 2016
Looks easy but it will be quite a challenge to make it happen but I am keeping all my fingers and toes crossed! Whoever that happened to read this, please wish me the best of luck. Pretty please!
